ok,,, now i'm stuck

I've moved all of our stuff over into the house. We are living in the bottom of it. But my brother's stuff is stuff is still in the upstairs. He keeps saying he'll be over to get it. But it's been over a week. I will have to clean the carpets upstairs, and move our bedroom furniture. I'm so antsy, I'm trying to be patient. Trying being the operative word. I need more grace or something. I've tried tactfully saying I would help. And nothing. So, I'll be over in the corner, moving the same boxes around and around.

Breathe in.... Breathe out...

Have you every finally accomplished something, and sigh with relief. One of those full body sigh. We are moved people.finally. We still have boxes everywhere, and there is still a couple of rooms that have to be cleared out before we can get things completely accomplished. But we are here. It's such a relief to have my own house.
Let me recap for all the many readers ( yeah right, so indulge me ) who may not understand.
Almost two years ago my parents decided that it was time to build their dream. A log cabin just for them. So, they started out and offered me my childhood home. Unfortunately, the men they hire to build their cabin, were idiots and cons. I began living with my sister, no don't get me wrong, my sister and I get along famously, but after a year and a half it was time to get out.
Now begins the rearranging and organizing and setting up of my very own house. I feel so grown up LOL.

In other news, I cause quite a stir by getting my girls hair cut. Hopefully, soon pictures will follow.
OOOOH and Happy Belated Christmas. and LET THE NEW YEAR BEGIN!!!

I might be able to move in this year but.....

You know I heard someone say that using a But in a sentence is like and eraser. I think I mentioned on here that my parents were building a log cabin. Well, it's been over a year now. The contractor to advantage of my parents. They overpaid him I know and he swindled them, and didn't finish the job. I personally would have fired him months and months ago. I even tried to talk to my mom about it. But i was told quite plainly to but out. So i did. I think they might be moved into their house by December. I have been living with my sister in one room for the last year and a half waiting..... Yeah it's fun. We laugh that when we finally move into the house the four of us will sit in the corner of one room and not know what to do lol. It's going to be interesting living in my childhood home. I have a lot of ideas about decorating. If I can do them might be a completely different thing. I would like to keep a lot of things the same, kinda lol.
I will post a picture when we move in. I also planning a huge party. YOu are all invited, but that will be after i move in and get fairly organized. Yeah, that will be Easter HA!

Well, A lot of help that did me.

When i was at the employment office i saw a flyer stating that if you lost your job through no fault of your own, you may qualify for state paid job training. So, i thought heyyy.. that's me. I've always wanted to be a massage theropist, acupunture, you know that type. So, i get up and drag me and my 23 month old to the office this morning to check into it. yeah, that was no help. She basicly told me there was no way that she would recemend me for the massage theropist. It doesn't work for this area. But if i want to pick something else and do the research to see if it is in demand for the area, she'd consider it. All i was wondering is what was her job supose to be. So, i guess i'm back to the want ads. It's annoying. I'm probably going to have to go to another temp to hire angency. We'll see.
My daughters are rotten as ever. I got them both down for a nap. Hannah went down pretty quick but i've been hearing Phoebe Jo calling. "Mamma, Maammmaa let me out. Hush... mama
amamama, " my sunshine. She's singing something in there now. When she finally goes down it should be for awhile. Here's hoping lol

I guess it leaves more time for blogging

You'll never guess what i was doing yesterday morning. Give up??? Signing up for unemployment. Yes, I am not in the ranks of the unemployed. Which sucks in some ways. Recently the company I was a "administrative assitant " to (read... I answered the phones and did all the jobs no one else would do) was bought out by a bigger company. We knew that there would be cut backs, especially in the office. Well, I was one of the cut backs. They let me go on a Tuesday... right in the middle of boxing up files from the last few years of the company. So, I got myself up early the next day and went down to the unemployment office. In a lot of ways this is a good thing. I really was driving too far (almost a 100 miles round trip) for only 35 hours a week. But I worked there for almost 3 years. What a coinscience, the anniversery of mine was Sept. 20th. YEah right. So, I get to spend sometime with my little darlings. I also saw a flyer at the unemployment office, about getting paid training by the state? I'm pretty sure I qualify for. SO, maybe just maybe i'll be able to go back to school on the state. I've always wanted to be a massage theropist. But untill Monday when I go see about it, everythings up in the air. Now pass me the remote, and lets have fun with the girls. I guess it leaves me more time to blog.

DId ya think i's deaded???

Isn't this a beautiful face LOL. She was mad at someone. I think Alyssa, my niece was taking the picture.

Ihaven't had access to a computer at home anymore soo. I have to post when i can at work.

I will eventually move into the house i grew up in. If the people ever finish the cabin for Mom and Dad. Let's just say there are lawyers about to be involved. FUN FUN. The company i work for has just sold to another company. Soooo, i may be out of a job. I'm not too concerned. I probably should have quit, long ago. It's a long drive, and with gas prices. Yeah you know the rest of that story. We'll see, if i get let go the WHHOO Hooo Unemployment here i come.

I have been enjoying all of the blogs i read. From Nino..... Paris ,lucky you. To Carrie, that i went to college with, and THe sweet southern sister Lisa and Theresa. To Jody, and the Cassidy's. I'm going to have to learn how to do a blog roll. I thought i would also put up some new pictures of my girly girls. The Star (Hannah Banana) and Sunsine (Phoebe Jo) or Peanut butter as her daddy calls her.

Challenge accepted

Here is my little sweet cheeks sunshine. Aren't those pony tail or tony pails as we call them delisshhh.
Here is Hannah the wonder girl. My star. She is on the top rung of the ladder. She only gets to pose at the top. HA!
The next picture is not for the faint of heart or quesy of stomach...... LOOOK AWAY !!!

Ok, so my friend Carrie challenged the readers of her blog to take a silly self portrait and post it. ooohhh man do i hate pictures of me, even from other people but a self portrait.... it's worse. SOoO anyways here it is. It was harder than i thought and i cut off part of my hair and my double chins... maybe the double chin wasn't such a bad idea. lol I look like a serial killer or something. All of you peoples that knew me from bible school will see i cut off all of my hair.

It's so much easier.

Ok... Where do i begin......

* I know it's been awhile. I've been busy. Let's see good things first. Hannah is now mostly potty trained! Yeahhhhhhh!!! I can breathe a small sigh of relief. She is doing it. I think her preschool helped immensely.

* I'm not sure her speech therapy is going so well. I haven't really seen much impovement. Do any of you out there think i'm jumping the gun. Maybe I need to just give it time

* Pheobe Jo was back in the hospital again. We were in the same hospital. She had RSV this time. We got to see the PICU. She is now sleeping, i'm hoping for a good long time. She has to have a breathing treatment everyday. Nightimes are the worst when she sleeps she coughs. Deep hacking coughs. Did I mention I'm a light sleeper and that i'm terrified she is going to stop breathing or choke to death. Coughs = Mom not sleeping

* My Mom and Dad are building a cabin and I will be moving into my childhood home. Maybe in just a couple of months hopefully in a couple of months. Maybe as soon as May. We will probably all sit in the corner of one room in the house for months lol

**** Spoiler Alert****** for Grey's Fans
What is with Izzy sleeping with George??????? Dun Dun DUNNNNNNN

well for that's it for my monthly... ummm bimonthly posts....

Santa may skip our house next year...LOL

No worries, it was just a cheap Santa hat. I was
Trying to get the boys to put it on their heads so i could get some pics. Baxter of course had other ideas
He decided to eat it.
"What?? he came into my house.'

"Aww come on,,, just a little nibble"
He is so funny. You got to love a big dummy. Bless his heart. Things around here are always fun. I've been thinking about the New year. I'm not a big fan of New Year's resolutions. I've tried to have life resolutions. I began when i was almost 30. I have always been a people pleaser I hated it. I decide that I had lived my life for others for 30 years, and now it was my turn. This life resolution, worked for the most part. I told my husband that it was time to ship up or ship out. He choose to ship out, well, kinda i kicked him out. Now i have 2 beautiful daughters that drive me insane. Now, i need to keep going, the girls, and lack of sleep tend to slow me down. I want to be creative. I want to write, draw, to be me. I just looked into schooling. I would like to be a massage therapist. Sooo, we'll see how far i get this year..
I miss telling bible stories. You see, for years and years i was a children's church worker, director. I love telling stories. Most people don't relize that the bible is full of great stories. Every kind of type and size. I think i will try at least once month type up a story. Just for my own enjoyment. Maybe you will get some too.
Stop me if i bore you.

A Photo Holiday Greeting

Waiting to Santa can make you CRAZY!! (I love this photo of Hannah this is soooo her.)

Better Watch out! Better not Cry!!

Be kind to your sisters, both big and little, or at least look like it at church ! HA HA

Look what is waiting under the christmas tree, a rotty. (this is samson, the old man rotty in our house, He is the best dog. Sweet as can be and beautiful.. But camera shy. I can only get a good pic of him when he is asleep. If he sees me coming at him with a camera. He runs. :)
Duuuhhhhh Where's Santa??? (This on the other hand is Baxter he is a serious camera ham. I think he is a pretty boy too. He is the puppy, bless his heart he's so dumb lol. I also have proof of why Santa may not be coming to our house next year.)

Update

We were in the hospital untill Sunday the 3rd. She took awhile to get off the oxygen. We now have a nebulizer and treatments 4 times a day. It seems to be working well for her. I don't her her wheezing as much. The doctor said she has asthma. So, that is something I'll have to watch her with. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers

Yesterday, my sister called me at work to tell me that Hannah had a fever and was complaining that her ear hurt. So, I had to leave work early to get her to the doctor. She has an ear infection. My poor sister, Hannah has Febral Seizures, and Jeannette was terrified she'd have one with her. Not that she couldn't handle it, it would just scare her.

I know what i want for Christmas and the New Year. One solid month of both my daughters being healthy. PLEASE Santa????? Just one month, without a doctor's visit or a hospital stay?
I would appreciate it.

Soooo, how are all of you??? JerriAnn (yess Carrie there are two of us HA) i love your ornaments. Carrie thanks for putting me on your blog roll. I've been meaning to update mine, but i have no spare time. Nino??? your beautiful girls?? I'd trade you a brown eyed girl for one of my blue eyed ones, but you'd trade my diva's back in a minute.

The most high tech room i think i've ever seen....

Hello again to all my friends... (i sound like Barney) I'm sorry i'm a little sleep deprived. I am right now sitting in the most hight tech new hospital room. I'm typing on the computer in theroom. It's hooked to the ceiling and moves around. You can watch tv, internet, play games. It's amazing. OOOH the reason i'm here? Remember when i said Phoebe had pnemonia (i'm still not good at spelling that) Well, we have battled some type of cold or cough for about 8 weeks. Tuesday i called my sister to tell her i was stopping by Wally world to get some more meds when she said Phoebe had a fever all day, was listless, not eating. FABBBabulous, so we tried treating her with tylenol for the fever but it wasn't breaking. At about 8:30pm she thew up the little she had in her stomache. Then i notice her breathing was very fast, and shallow.... sosoosoo off i went to the ER. Let me note i have been in that ER this was the third time in 8 weeks. Twice with Phoebe. We, Phoebe and I got there at about 11pm. They did a chest xray, but they said it was clear. Her breathing still was not right, and her blood oxygen level was down... so they admitted her at about 4am. She had not slept yet, I definately had not. Then her oxyen levels started really droping soo, an IV went in , a breathing treatment, lots and lots of screaming, before i finally got her to sleep at about 6:30am. 3 different pediatricians were called in during the morning. The xray was relooked at.... hummm... ooooh she has does have pnemonia.. maybe something viral... we'll keep her over night and probably release her in the morning. Next morning she sounded worse oxygen levels worse... lets sender to a larger hospital. That was yesterday, I drove her out here. To Clarion North, New high tech hospital.
The conclusions so far.... We actually got to see a pulmanoligist (yeah i wouldn't have know that either, Lung specialist(i wonder if i butchered the spelling of that ) He believe's Phoebe has Asthma. And they also think that she has a viral infection on top that is flaring it badly. When she sleep deeply now her oxygen level drops like a stone. Meaning, I haven't been sleeping.
So far, she's got six holes between the shots and IV. and she is claustraphobic.... (I know it sounds ridicules for a one year old, but both of my girls do.) so the masks, the breathing treatments in her face..... yeah, lots and lots of screaming. I hate having to hold her down for stuff. I know it's for her health but i hate it. She has a tube in her nose, well it goes on her face. She is used to it now but it wasn't fun. I told the doctor that i didn't want to take her home unless i knew i could put her in her crib at night and not worry about her breathing. He said that she will not be released untill she can be off oxygen for 24 hours and her stats are good. I may be her awhile. at least i can blog... you may get tired of reading me rattle on.

Thanksgiving and stuff

Tonight Hannah picked up one of my lace bra's. She put it around her neck and looked and me and said "I am Dr Phil, and this is a telescope." LOL She's a little mixed up it was suppose to be a stethoscope. Guess who's getting a nurses kit for Christmas.
I'm listening to the girls wrestling around in their beds, they are suppose to be going to sleep. Yeah, lots of luck with that. It's been an hour, i just caught Hannah with her hand in her sisters crib. Probably trying to steal some of her toys. I'll be glad when they have their own beds and room.
On that note it does look like i'll be able to move into my childhood home. My parents are building a log cabin on one of the lots of the compound. When they move in their we will be moving into the house. The girls will have their bedroom. It will be good to not all be living in the same room.
Oohhh if you are all wondering about the rainbow ankle comment. I was going down my parents front stairs and of course I fell. My ankle was swollen, and black and blue. It doesn't hurt to walk on anymore, but if i turn it a certain way it hurts.
Hannah actually went all day without an accident. I was so proud. We are still having issues over it. We have tried the rewards, and everything. We are taking it one hour at a time. I'm trying to relax, it's hard for me.
(Utoh I heard a squeal from the living room, COLTS Touch down)
oooohhhhh listen up world wide web...... all is quiet on the corner front.... think it will stick???
welll,, hummm Phoebe Jo is standing up, in her crib. and their goes the lion, maybe she will play with it to go to sleep.

Playing Hooky well, kinda

I'm usually at church on Sunday mornings, but my youngest is coughing, and since a resent bout with pnemonia i thought it wouldn't be a good idea to get out in the cold. Hannah did decide to go to church with Grandma. She loves church, and Sunday school and i'm so pleased. I am attending the church i grew up in. I love my church family. And that is exactly who they are. I'm glad that Hannah is loving it too.

I'm trying something new today. Phoebe is asleep and i have a little time to myself. Besides posting i'm catching all the blogs i normally read. I'm trying today to leave comments, of some kind, on all the blogs that i read. I read lots of blogs but i don't usually have a chance to comment. SO, i'm Delurking on everyone today. i'm hoping to get more posts on this month, we'll see.

Halloween, Preschool, and such

It is 6:45 on Saturday morning. Hannah is asleep and Phoebe is playing in her crib. I'm wide awake, I have been since oooohh 5:20. But that's ok. I got a shower and cleaned out the van so Tommy could take it to work. I have a feeling I may be headed back to the Doctor today. We've been fighting sickness. First Phoebe Jo had a bad wheeze. One night her breathing was so bad I took her to the ER. They gave her a breathing treatment and initially said the chest xray was fine. I got a call a day later saying that they had reviewed it and she had pneumonia (is that how that is spelled?) So, after a few frantic calls we were off to the doctor. One week on one kind of antibiotic, didn't work, and Hannah was sick. Back we went. Another antibiotic for Phoebe Jo and amoxicillian for Hannah. Then I got a call from the babysitter Hannah was broken out in hives, guess who is now allergic to penicillin. oOOhh yeah, beside me....Hannah. And do you know that Omnicef, (non penicillin antibiotic) cost $105 for 60 ml. Yeah, I've spent over $200 dollars on just medicine, perceived medicine in the last month. FUn. Hannah is getting better, and Phoebe was. But last night started coughing, and her eyes are all gunky. So, it's probably back to the doctor.

About a month ago I had Hannah tested for everything, as far a learning disabilities. My mom is a learning disability teacher in the local Jr/Sr high school. She was concerned about Hannah's speach. Hannah as a small baby had alot of ear infections, and we ended up having tubes put in her ears at 7 months. She didn't coo as a small baby and talked late. I did have her hearing tested at about 18 months, but I thought it was really lame. I mean they put me in a room with her and made noises, to see if she looked in the direction of the noise. Then a toy would play if she did. The toys were animals playing instruments, you know Monkey playing cymbals kind of thing. She was terrified of the animals. Last monday I went to get the results. She has some speech needs.
She mixes some sounds, t for k, d for g, and y for l. She scored very very high on the vocabulary, just low on the articulation. Meaning my girl can TALK you just might not be able to understand everything she's saying .
She also has some slight developmental delays. I had her tested to also see if she could get into a special pre-school. And YEAH she qualified. So, she will start Monday at her new school. She will got Monday thru Thursday from 8am to 11:30. She gets to ride the school bus, and go to school with my mom in the mornings.
I'm excited about this Pre-school.
The first of the school year I had started looking to get her into a preschool.
she so wanted to be with other kids. But we have a potty training issue remember. I actually enrolled her in a local preschool. I explained that she was in panties, and that she goes pee in the pot pretty well, we just have issues with bowel movements. I should have trusted my instinct. I met the teach at the other preschool. And I didn't like her. I should have followed my gut. Hannah lasted 2 days. The teacher just couldn't "handle" her having accidents.
At the new preschool, you don't have to be completely potty trained. I've also met the teacher, she is so sweet and I have a good feeling about her. That makes a mama breathe easier. In the mornings Hannah will be riding the bus from the local school that my mom teaches at and one of my mom's aides will be on the bus. But in the afternoon she won't. It will be the same bus driver, but still. I'm a little nervous about it. I can imagine it's hard to put your kindergarten on the bus but Hannah is Three!!

On a completely different note. I've read about the national blog month. I would love to do something like that, but I don't have much time. Maybe I'll try to get more blog entries in this month. I am an avid blog reader. I read at least 20 or 30 on my lunch at work (and when I can sneak and the boss not see)
I read Nino, and the original Jerriann from alabama, and Amy, I need to update my blog roll, yeah right. Just know I'm out there.
Opps I forgot about Halloween.
HUmm, maybe I wasblocking it out. HA!
It was a trip.
ohhh my littlest munchkin just leaned over in her saucer and grabbed her sisters candy basket. she is soo smart.
Phoebe has Tommy's coloring. She has the prettiest color, it's like a natural tan. Coming from someone that has always been so fair I literally glow in the dark. My poor Hannah is colored like me. These two will be opposites in looks for sure. Hannah is going to be model tall, she is three and a half (got to get the half in there) and she is wearing a little girls size 6 clothes. I fully expect her to be six feet tall. She has fair, snow white coloring, dark almost black hair and the clearest biggest blue eyes. All Hannah's life strangers have stopped me in the street to tell me how pretty she is. I try to teach her and attitude goes a long way too.
Phoebe will be a year old in a couple of weeks. Can you believe it? She might be 20lbs, she hovers around the 20lb mark at the doctors. She wears 12 month clothes and they fit her a little big. She has coloring that I would die for. She has a natural golden color to her. (oops obviously miss thing stole a sucker from her sisters candy stash lol let me take the paper off girly,) (Let it be known that she is in an excersauser a foot away from me, and yes I'm letting her have a sucker at 7:30 am (shut up!!!) and yes she can eat suckers obviously supervised) She can also drink from a straw. My little sunshine looks just like summer to me, tan, golden hair, light brown, and big blue eyes.
I call my girls Star bright and Sun light. Hannah is my Star... Diva yeah know. Phoebe Jo is my sunlight. If she sees someone she knows she lights up like the sun.
hummmm,
I've written one of the longest post ever, and still haven't gotten to Halloween. I'll get there, maybe post picture of the girls in their costumes and my rainbow ankle... I'll explain

Thoughts From the Basement

My Three year old refuses to be potty trained. She is driving me crazy. She is so strong willed. It feels like i have to be on her alllllll the time. I've finally gotten her to the point that she will go pee in the pot. But she won't poop in the pot to save her life. She so wants to be in pre-school.
I hear all the time "Momma, I need a new fwiend" "Momma, i want a best fwiend" I signed her up for a pre-school. I explained to the teach we were having some issues about potting training. The teacher said they would try it. She lasted two days. (it was a HUGE mess) Which i don't think helped at all. I'm just so upset for her. And i keep hearing Dr Phil in my head "IT AINT ABOUT YOU!" lol. But she is missing out on so much because she isn't potty trained. Before you start, i'm not punising her for her accidents. But she doesn't care if she has and accident, and i can have her sit on the potty for hours and she'll hold it and go poop her pants somewhere else. I knew she will eventually get it,,,, but when?
I'm also a bit depressed. I fianlly resigned myself to the fact that i won't be able to afford my childhood home. It was suppose to be sold to me next year, but i can't afford that big a morguage. So, i took a deep breathe and told my mom to offer it to my brother. I feel stuck in the place, no matter how lovingly it is.
Phoebe is about to turn a year old and I can't believe it. My beautiful sunshine.
Nine times out of ten, I'm a happy person. But i think the gray is showing through.

They may not be Barker beauties, but maybe one day.....

Hello everyone,
i have final got a little time to myself to actually post. When i first started my job, i was twidling my thumbs with nothing to do. I would usually finish up the day's work at about 10 am. Then they decided to give me more to do. Now i'm scrambling to get everything done, and wondering what everyone else is doing. I'm still reading faithfully on my lunch hours. Nino, JerriAnn, Carrie (Big Girl in Progress), everyday i promise, along with several others. I need to up date my blog roll but i never have the time between the girls and work.
OOHH by the way. My Honey Tommy says i never say anything about him on here. LOL sooo there something...
We'll see how long it takes him to notice girls. and i quote him " you only talk about those girls and that shop!"
pooor baby.. he's so precious, bless his heart LOL ( for referance on that you need to watch Chonda Pierce. she is a hilarious christian comedian.)
hummm, lets see what has been happening.
Hannah went to a friends house the other day. She usually goes and see Grandma Short there, but the dear lady died this summer, she was 100 years old. That day she was there and ask to go in and see her.
My friend said "Don't you remember Hannah, Grandma Short is in heavan.'Hannah says "How 'd she get there?
My friend says "Jesus came down and took here up there."
to which my daughter says after a minute of thinking.
"Well, he needs to just stay where he is and not take anyone else!"
lol she kills me and the drama,,, oooh heavans. She can already fake prat fall at three.. no one taught her that.
I fully expect an oscar out of her one day.
Miss Phoebe Jo is precious. She now says......."DADA" yeah thanks kid.
We were in bed one morning, she was awake but not crying so we weren't moving, when we heard "dadaddada"
Hummm, Tommy who is usually pretty asleep, woke up quick fast and in a hurry. Tickled Pink,,..."Did you here what she just said????" i thought he was going to burst. She is definatly a daddy's girl.
We got th

A. W. O. L.

So did you think you had finally gotten rid of me???? Your not so lucky. I told you all that has gone on in the last month, it would be a whole whine fest. Let's just say, it involved.... my boyfriend getting a hernia on the job and workers comp turning him down..... getting evicted... sooo i'm bad where i swore i would never be. My sisters. I love her, but i'm overcrowed and depressed.
But enough of all that.
Want to here something that would make your cringe and laugh?
We were leaving Wally-world and my daughter ask to ride on the ice cream truck. I explained to her that i didn't get any quarters in my change. Sooooo.
My daughter stand up in the cart and anounces
"EVERYBODY.... EVERYBODY...... MY MOM NEEDS A QUARTER!!!"
i quickly got some change from a cashier.
Hannah will be 3 this next sunday. I can't believe it. She will be the death of me. My mom gets pictures of her on or near her birthday... so i'll pass them along.
so for now that's all.
